There are many types of inkjet printers, from the printing principle, there are two types of inkjet printers: continuous and drop-on-demand. Their inkjet principles are very different, so the inkjet inks used are also very different. The main advantage of continuous inkjet technology is that it can form high-speed inkjet particles, which is suitable for high-speed printing. General requirements for the performance of inkjet inks include:
(1) Sprayability: It is expressed as two main indicators, namely the viscosity and surface tension of the ink; for Continuous Inkjet Printer ink also requires conductivity.
(2) Reliability: Do not block the nozzle; there is compatibility between the inkjet ink components and between the inkjet ink and the inkjet head assembly; there is storage stability.
(3) Image quality: good print quality (ink dot diffusion, high optical density, clear printing edges); fast fixation on different printing media; water resistance; light resistance; anti-friction.
(4) Safety: non-toxic; non-flammable; low odor.
